Day 5

So today was our last day of work. We finished painting the hospital, including the outer front entrance. Today we painted the women's ward, the main hallway, three bathrooms, and the entrance. Many Haitians helped us complete it. Jen almost fell off a ladder like three times because I kept shaking it. She's old fashioned. We played frisbee with the hundred kids that flock to us every time we come out, talked with theology students at the clinic, and just had a generally wonderful time with relationships and work mixed in together like a guacamole pizza. On that note, we got to have Haitian pizza for supper tonight, it was like a thin crust onion and cheese deliciousness. Very good.

  4. Hi Haiti group! Sounds like you are having a wonderful and exciting time. I have been thinking of you often and praying that God is working through you as work along side the people you meet. I am so going on the next trip and not just to play frisbee although that sounds like alot of fun as well. God Bless you all.
